About the event

If you are responsible for your company's digital success, join us for our Community AW.

Our Gothenburg Technical Leaders Community After Work is a welcoming, open evening designed for tech leaders to connect, share insights, and build genuine relationships.

Your company may be different, but your challenges are rarely unique. This community exists because people make better decisions when they start solving challenges together. As one of our members puts it:

"It's a context where I can step out of the isolation that the CTO role often brings, and discuss with a group of people who are the only ones who truly understand my role for what it is. Positioned between a rock and a hard place."

That is exactly what this evening is about: stepping out of that isolation in a friendly and relaxed environment.

We believe that being open and sharing your actual thoughts is the best way to get challenged, gain new perspectives, and grow. During the evening, we talk about everything from big strategic tech questions to the practical, everyday challenges that come with this role. Come as you are, join the conversation, and feel free to bring a question or ask for help with something you are currently navigating—because this is a community that genuinely wants to support each other.

This is a free event, you just cover your own tab.

Why we gather

Gothenburg’s future depends on a broader, more resilient business ecosystem. We need more companies that can develop, compete, and create lasting value.

But building the future is complex. The role of a tech leader is a unique position balancing technology, culture, and business strategy, and there is rarely anyone in your own team who truly gets the full picture.

That is why GBGCTO Network was founded. GTLC is our open event series—the community gathering spot Gothenburg has been missing, where conversations range from product strategy to hiring and scaling. By learning together, we make smarter decisions for our companies and our region.

Want to get more involved?

If you’d like to engage more actively, there are two additional ways to do so:

  • If you want to be part of driving the network forward and take shared responsibility for its development, you can join a smaller group that meets six times per year. The cost is 7,500 SEK per year (excl. VAT). https://forms.gle/aNgoFTfWaSud...
  • For those who want to help make Gothenburg an even stronger place for development. The AI initiative focuses on sharing knowledge, experimenting, and learning from each other as companies, to become better at applying AI in practice. https://forms.gle/7V3dVksLZ1G3...
